1. Restricted Commodities

·    It is classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles  by IATA (International Air Transport Associated), ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization), or any applicable government department of other relevant organization.

·    CORNICHE will not carry hazardous goods, liquids, inflammable or explosive material, medicine, powder, currency, antiques, pictures, animals, plants, foodstuffs, pornography,
precious metals, jewellery, furs, revenue stamps and all kinds of cash cheque…etc. If you
need further information, please contact us at 2754 8600.

2. Refusal and Suspension of Service

·    If it comes to the attention of CORNICHE that any package does not meet any of the above term restrictions or conditions, CORNICHE may refuse to transport the relevant package and if carriage is in progress, CORNICHE may suspend carriage and hold the package.

·    CORNICHE has the right to open and inspect a shipment without prior notice to shipper.

3. Shipment Insurance

·    CORNICHE is not responsible for any insurance.

4. Claim and Liability

·    For lost Overseas Shipments, the amount of liability is the value of the commercial invoice with a maximum amount of liability is HK$1,000.00 per airway bill. For lost Local Shipments, the amount of liability is HK$250.00 per airway bill.

·    CORNICHE is not responsible for delay of shipments caused by delays or cancellations in scheduled air flights, customs procedures or any special reason in destination country.

·    CORNICHE is not CORNICHE is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of circumstances beyond CORNICHE's control.

·    All claims, must be submitted in writing to CORNICHE within 30 days from the shipped dated.

5. Payment Terms

·    To change payment method, click here to download a form.

·    From 2007, we will be charging the fuel surcharge to all destinations. For latest information, please refer to our news page or invoice bill.

·    Any discrepancies in invoice value must be notified to us within 30 days from invoice date by calling us at 2754 8600 or email to accounts@corniche.com.hk.

v    In case of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese, the English version      shall prevail.

v    If there is any dispute, CORNICHE has the ultimate right to make the final decision.
